Stock 400ex axle length?

Did a quick search and didnt really find what i was looking for.

Whats the length of a stock 400ex axle and the length of a 250r axle?

Just picked up a durablue for $125, no idea on the length, i believe the furthest points came to 39''.

seeing that you have a 400ex in your signature, i'd suggest getting a tape measure, going out to your bike and measuring it, then comparing it with what you bought. and then you can procede from there after you gather that information. moreless trial and error...

nope, acutally what you see in my signature is all that i have. Im building the quad from a bare frame. It never started as a full quad.

yes, i sure do, and im sorry to jump to assumptions or conclusions on you and apologize. also take into consideration some people here will go and measure there stock 400ex axle and come up with 10 different measurments because they all measure from different places. If i had a stock axle i'd gladly give you the dimensions of it. again, sorry to bust your balls.

well in that case does anyone know the length of EITHER axle????????????????????????????

best i can give you is from Hondas site....wheelbase at 45.3 inches....guess you can slap some tires on that axle if you got em....

ok if it is 45.3 u needed to subtract about 8in (4in from each side)
i would the axle would go about half into the rim i am estimating because iam saying the rim itself is about 11in wide so it might little bit more easier if ihad mine would help but i could do is some advice hope it helps :)

I measured mine and got 32.5in.That is from the left inside rim to the brake side of the chain,then i measured it from the other rim to the sprocket side of the brake disk,then i measured the in side of the sprocket and brake disk.

Went an got my stock spare 400ex axle down from the shelf. From end to end it is 33 3/4 in long.
