View Full Version : 400EX rev limiter on 300EX?

Would the 400EX work on the 300EX? Would it help? thanx, HonDaGUY1987:macho

Rev limiters do nothing unless you have a built engine and higher comp piston and hotter cam that is designed to create peak hp at a higher rpm than the stock limiter allows. A rev limiter is useless with a stock motor unless your goal is to detinate the engine.

Yeah, the timing is probably diffrent, and that CDI box is timed for a 400. My point being, it will try and fire the plug at the wrong time,etc.
