I figure with all these threads lets see how the polls show!

It's going to effect me a little I wont be racing the full season this year 200 dollars paycheck each week doesnt get me anywhere. I'll probaly stick to one track and do track points this year..

this way we can weve out and not have so many gas threads keep it to one thread :p

Not too much..I have been on a mission all season to win the district championship, nothing is gettin in my way. I work my *** off monday-friday and spend every penny of it on the weekends...it will be worth it in the end..

Hasnt really effected me yet... well it really wont effect my riding... but I'm waiting to see the outcome overall of the gas prices... especially with them getting higher and higher every day!

very true mofo, they are climbing at a alarming rate! with the way they are going we could buy vp racing 112 octane in 1999-2001 for what 94 octane will cost soon!

closest track is 45 minutes to an hour away and with gas bieng 3.34 like it just turned here over a couple hours i dont think i can afford to put gas in my chevy 350 v8 and 92 in the quad so i def wont be riding very far.

Mxjunkie

Sure has been, haven't really rode much since a couple of months ago. For me to even ride at baldwin will cost me 80 bucks just to get there and back. Not to mention the fuel I'll be burning up riding.:ermm:

Pretty sad, hopefully it will change after the holiday weekend.

It affects me like this, I used to ride around for fun or jump on the 400 whenever I wanted, I would go out on the weekends and eat and have fun. I now drive the speed limit everywhere cause the faster I go, the more fuel I use, go only from point a to point b and on the wekends I go home early and go to bed.

Now that I think about it I may just be geting old the reason I drive slower and go to bed ealry, dange I hope that ain't it.

it will be effecting the amount of times i go practice. will still race a full season next year, but I might not be going to practice every week anymore unless I can keep practicing at the local track 10 min away, but not as many trips to my fav track in the whole world which is about a 65-70 mile drive :(

If it stays like this, I'll just leave my snowmobile's put away for the winter also. Looks like I'll have to dust off my ps2 for the winter time. :(

It's already affected me.....we can't go to Utah for the WORCS race now.......we have cut out most local races to just save money to get to California for the ITP races......and I don't know how we are going to do it next year. I will be getting a second part time job after the 1st to save money for racing......which really really really SUCKS.

I am also going to look into getting my quad street legal again.....almost did it with the Banshee.......it's alot more worth the effort now. :o

Yeah, you can get your quad street legal here. Can't ride it on the freeways, though - and even if you are in compliance with the State DMV regulations, certain cities will ticket you in a second. The two cities that won't are the two we need to ride in......so, so far so good! Just need a few little items and increased insurance coverage so far. Maybe an old pair of Hoosiers or something......they don't require street tires, though....crazy!!
