I currently have a 2001 300ex with Elka Front shocks, Raptor Rear, Supertrapp IDS-2 Full exhaust K&N filter, Dynojet jet kit. Now remember I cant go over 300cc because I will be racing this in the blaster class. Would a 300 kit be worth the money? Thanks

axle and a-arms should be next and yea the 300 kit is worth it but not if you dont have axle and a-arms

Like they said widen it. You can have all the power in the world, but without being able to handle it you will go nowhere.
Get +3 a-arms and axle and get your elkas revalved. Then go with nerfs then the 300 kit

i forgot to say that i have nerfs and i cant widen for two reasons, 1 it wont fit in my trailer. 2 I race XC and need to stay small.

lol, a .080 piston will put it at 297cc's. .040 is somthing like 289cc, not to sure tho. Even if your racing XC +2s will only put you out to like 45 inches. and thats about idea for amater XC racer.

I already have tires and wheels, Holeshot XC. I am looking at a Ricks electric rev box and mabey some sort of aftermarket handle bars. Could I get handle bars made for a 400ex?

any handlebar will fit as long as it is 7/8" thickness if it is 1 1/8" thickness you need a bigger clamp. and longer a-arms and axle will still be good for a 300ex even racing woods because you will be as wide as a stock 400ex.and i would invest in some faast bars a good bar that should last a long time and can from quad to quad with you.

I would love to widen but I wouldnt be able to afford it with the cost of a new trailer. lol
