450R- things to watch out for/ good mods

Ok, I have a kid interested in my 330 and that means its time for a 450r. So I am just wondering if theres any little problems I need to watch out for. Also a good list of mods to start with would be nice. I was thinking a Curtis Sparks pipe and a Baldwin MX grind cam, then axle and a arms and such.

some 05s are known to have crank bearing failure, but thats all as far as problems

and a cam and pipe are excellent first choice mods, they will make your 450 rip!
