I have a 406bore and wiseco 12:1 piston and a hot cam stage 2 what would be the best gearing for this bike. I have a 14-t sproket and I absolutly hate that thing. So what do yall think?

The 14t has me boggingin 2nd off the start and turning a backflip in 1st off the start soooooo........ what do yall think

with mods in sig I had a stock rear sprocket, 16 tooth sprocket, with stock swing arm.

went to +1 swingarm and went back doun to 15.

i have the same front sprocket n for hillclimbing n trails i hate the stupid thing

But they are great for the track with the 15 tooth i can do hardly any of the jumps cuz i can never find the right gear but since u have a higher bore u coul dprobly pull off the 15 tooth

With a 38 rear

I would go with stock gearing with 18 inch tires.

Thats what I have and I am contemplating dropping teeth on the back sprocket, it sucks that jumps my buddies can clear on their 450's 2nd gear just blipping the throttle, I have to hit them 3rd tapped!

You could always get more motor work done.

With my 426 15-36 worked the best. Part of the reason was it had more of a topend cam. With more of a bottomend cam it probly could have pulled 16-38 better than it did.

Now with the 465 I run16-38 and could go even higher, if I had enough adjustment i would go 16-36. i could probly do 16-37 just havent tired it yet.
