Which would be faster overall???

A 250ex with a twin air airfilter a dynojet jet kit 20 inch tires an full system hmf pipe and no airbox lid, or a 300ex with a FMF powercore slip-on and 20inch tires?

And what speeds would both quads be hitting? Right now my quad stock goes topped out at 53.

if you put 20 inch tires on your 250ex youll be going like 46 max! a 300ex will go way faster than a 250ex any way, they dont even compare.

doesnt matter the size of the tires on the 300ex, matters about the gearing.

your 300ex with stock gearing and the 20" tires would top out at approx. 50mph when you hit the rev limit.

Replace your rear sprocket with a 36 tooth and you'd get back up to about 53mph when you hit the rev limit.

Or replace the front sprocket with a 14 tooth and the rear with a 36 tooth you'd get back up to about 57mph.

I'd just stick with the stock gear ratio though for the woods on a 20" tire.

id say a 300 would be a little faster but usauly the rider makes all the difference so depends..
