question for gncc guys

ive always wondered why in some of the gncc races some of the guys put duct tape on the front of thier quad? i see it all the time in the gncc section. whats the purpose of this?

its to keep mud from clogging the radiator.

thanks for clearing that up for me. i thoguht it had somthing to do with roost from other quads but i had no clue :p

some guys use tape, some guys use screen door screening which works very well I might add because it still flows air, then us banshee guys use foam/screen door screening netting which ever you pefer to call it :D
