Ok, I have held it off long enough but it is finally time to protect my investment by getting a swingarm skidplate. Which one would you guyz recomend that is mildly priced but can get the Crap beaten out of it?? Thanks Master

I have DG and it works okay I actually had a crack in it But I have seen and ridden with a PRM swingarm skid and it worked really well.

Its steel. Maybe a little heavy, but thats it.

The factory one is crap. It is very weak. It is lightwieght compared to aftermarket skids.

The only skids that hold up to extreme abuse are pro tect and prm. I own and have used both. I like them both very much. The prm is cheaper than the protect. i reccomend going with the prm if money is a concern.

My AC is good and has lasted so far, but if I ever have to get a New Swingarm Skid it will be a Pro-Tect or Pro Armor.

how much is a pro-tec one? i have a PRM on the back and just got the bottom frame one, had the swingarm one for about 3 months its pretty scratched up but hasn't bent yet, i got tired of bending my old one back into place ever 10 mins while riding, nothing more annoying than brake rotors and or chains aginst a steel skidplate:blah i reccomend the PRM:cool: :D

I put an Armadillo on mine and have had the best of luck even after some 4th gear hits to rocks that toss the 4wheeler off the graound and nothing but comsmetic cuts. The only thin g I have found to be a down side of the Armadillo is that the Rivots that hold the Teflon chainslider on get ripped off on the under side and the teflon wants to come up to the rear of the plate. After a good ride I take neeedle nose plyer and sqeeze them down and almost good as new. I highly recommend it and I run in a major rock zone and it still is straight as new.
