how do i adjust the stiffness of my shocks?what all do i need and what are the steps to doing it?

300ex I assume from you sig? Also do you have stock or aftermarket and if aftermarket what brand? We need the details in order to help you out here....

oh my fault yes its a 300EX and they are stock shocks...for now atleast im workin on elka econmies

For the front the only thing you can do is to adjust the preload ring all the way to the tightest setting. The back Im not too familiar with 300ex rear shocks, but they are probably similar to the 400ex. In any event if its has the adjustments there should be a little screw towards the top shock mount on the shock body itself. Screw it in for firmness. If it doesn't have this adjustment then just adjust the preload ring all the way tight just like the fronts.

yeah thats the only thing that you can do, adjust the preload collar.

Hey, I don't mean to post in someone elses thread, but where can you get the tool to adjust Axis shocks? Do you have to get it from Axis direct?
