Hey some people have told me that if ur motor is really hot after riding and then u wash it you could blow gaskets and so on if the motor is still hot when u wash it is it tru?

nope. quad engines get hot all the time and then you run through a puddle or stream crossing.

nope you wont blow any gaskets. but if your motor is super hot and you wash it off you could crack your case.

ya i wouldnt wash it rite after riding it, your bound to crack something. its fine though if you have the motor running and go thru water because its not going to be really hot then all the sudden be cold, it will still stay warm enough to not cause damage.

it is possible for power washers to ruin gaskets too so be careful there.

ya i no someone that cracked their case by washing it right after they got done riding bad deal their thats all i gotta say

if its running lean and hot as hell and you hit A huge *** puddle enough to stall motor then you got problems

Yea the case is definitly something to keep your eye on, but also if your pipe is real hot and you soak, I mean really soak it down with some water and get it real cold real fast, you can hurt the packing inside...just something to be careful of guys.
