Round Seven - Muddy Creek

The day was getting hot and the sun wasn't letting up! Round Seven was in Marion, NC at the Muddy Creek track. The track was going to be tight! I got the privilege to ride it on Saturday and the lappers were going to be the biggest problem on the track, I could tell.

Chris Borich made the journey from the North to get in some practice as well. Buren was thrilled to tell Borich that this riding would be just like the Yadkinville GNCC coming up.

And as the green flag went up, Chris Borich got his Alba action Honda started first and out front around turn one. Right on his wheels into the woods were Four Stroke Tech teammates, Mike Houston and Bryan Cook.
Not even three tenths of a mile into the race was the first creek jump -- hope they were ready for it!

I'm a lapper and lovin' it! :blah: Not everyone has the time to exercise and the moral/tech support like most of the pros do. I'm sure that they have really worked hard to get where they are and it's very frustrating in tight woods. Well spoken Gump. The local radio station here - in Charlotte - holding a fund raiser for supplies and Money to the American Red Cross. I did send a check in from the Mid East Series in support of all of those devastated. So, please, support the American Red Cross to help those devastated in New Orleans, Gulfport, Bioloxi, and many more places.

As gas prices are rising and everyone is complaining......were not bad off. I would pay $100.00 for a gallon of gas for the next twenty years to give those people back their home and life.

I was watching CNN and the weather man was asking a 10 year old boy what he thought of the hurricane and he broke down crying. The boy simply stated, "My daddy doesn't have a job." From the mouth of a ten year old you would expect some like, "Well there is lots of mud and water to play in."

I was also listening to the radio on my way to school this morning. The Wal-Mart in Knoxville is accepting bottled water for LA. The radio host was talking to a man loading water onto a big rig and she told him to take a break because he was sweating profusely. He declined and said, "I have nothing else to do." "I am from Gulfport." These people are expected to get to return to the aftermath in January.

When you think you are having a bad day, look around but not far. You will find that other people have it much worse. Keep these people in your prayers! We cannot imagine what they are going through.

44, i was riding behind a yamaha that wouldn't let a pack of about 10 of us by, finaly found a line then it was me holding up a pack of about 15 by that time, to make a long story short i was riding over my head and cliped a stump or something on a slight off camber up uphill and there we went... ouch !!! everytime i tryed to get it off of me one of the guys in the pack would knock it back on me, nothing hurt but my pride... :D

well it's offical, i won't be racing sunday. just got back from the doctor, broke a small piece of bone off of my pelvick and tore a ligimate right next to the ole nads, now this hurts !!!! doc said it took a couple of days of walking on it to get it inflamed the way it is, that's why it didn't hurt so bad saturday and sunday. i know some of you have no reason to race now, but hang in there i'll be back for parker valley. now i'm out of the points race in senoir, so i'm gonna run unlimited and try to get my 1st win. but look on the bright side, i should be able to walk good enough at rockhouse to give yall the best race report of the year !!! Bonnie will cover the overall and i will do the best amature report yall have seen since i will be the cameraman and bonnie i will need a orange vest so i can take the suki out into the woods for some killer action pics if i'm able to ride it..
