which quad would be best .

hey , im about 5,3 and wieght about a hundred pounds and i was wonderin what quad would be beter for me , i race xc on a modified blaster right now but i want something fast and something realy good for xc, what would be best , a yfz, pred , or 450r, or a kfxor z 400 , thanks , i will really appriciate it .:)

are you really big enough to handle a big bore quad? if your 5'3 and 100 pounds it doesnt sound like you need to be on a 450. please dont take offense to this im not flaming.

but anyway as for the quad. if your racing id get a 450r for the woods. that or a z400.

thanks , i sat on a z 400 at a race shop and they fit me really good, did u have to do any of the frame mod things so it doesnt bend or brake , thanks .

yah idk if you could handel a 450, might wanna ride one before u get in over your head and cant handle it. Might wanna try a 400 first, or even a 300ex...you are kinda small :ermm:

just watch out for the 03s around the shock mounts im pretty sure. if you dont really jump tough its fine, ive only herd of frame problems on the 03s with mx racers.

if you'll be in the woods on a yfz or a 450r id highly suggest you practice on one before you start racing.... first time i drove a yfz i almost wrecked it on a trail behind a friends house cause i could just not handle the power yet(and of course i wus a big man and pinnned it :o ) trust me them trees seem like they jump out at you on a 450 if you not used to the power, and racing through the woods could be dangerous if ur not used to it.. if i wus you though i'd seriously get one of the 450's and just get used to the power

i would go for the 450r. Its got very mellow nice power for the woods. It's fast, but not out of hand. I like the controlable power of the 450r in the woods

i got my 450r on a thursday and raced it in the stock class that saturday and got 5th. and i came from a slightly modded blaster. stock the 450r isnt that hard to handle but once you put a cam and a pipe its gets a bit harder

yea the only reason i wus makin it out to be such a rocket on power, see i still had the ol recon then, and trust me ride that thing all day, and then hop on a yfz and see if you dont almost chit your pants:eek2:

hey redline ranger i like ur 2 cents and everyone else who help me thanks ,im thinkn about a 450r after u guys have helped me out , ill proabably get a pipe but i aint doin no motor work onit , just hand guards, nefts , that kind of stuff, thanks once agin every body. later:)
