400ex problem

Hey guys, i have been riding my 400ex the whole summer alot and its been great, starting up everytime no hassle, i raced yesterday too..but today i started it up and rode around for a while like normal around the yard, and then i shutit off, mowed the lawn, and went to start it up, it started and then backfired really loud and wont start now. what the heck is this a sign of?

Does it turn over normal or does it make any unusual sounds when you try to start it, did you check the plug to make sure it didn't foul it?

srry guys im dumb, i fouled the plug and forgot to cehckk...nvm lol
