changing an axle

i sorta new to all of this. i wanna get a new axle.. probubly a g force im not sure. what do i need to change? axle carrier? bearings? i just need to kno everything that has to be done when i change my axle...

You don't NEED to change your bearings but it would be a good idea while you're there. Your carrier should be fine uless you bearings have chewed it up. You are going to need a big crescent/pipe wrench to get your axle nut loose. It wouldn't hurt to pick up a locking axle nut because it seems like after you loosen the stocker it never stays tight again. I highly recommend picking up a service manual. It will make the job much easier.
