Finally got the rekluse in my bike set right, and it sattered the basket on the second lap. I have heard of it happening just hoped it wouldn't be me. I hear wiseco is the best basket, but they aren't available yet, any suggestions?

the same thing happened to someone on QZ. check out the thread over there. He called ReKluse and they helped him out. So I would say call them.

And I heard that Hinson makes the best baskets. Better be at $250.

I will look for the thread, and I had plans on calling rekluse to kinda vent. I just talked to them last week so maybe they will remember me. I will atleast have something to fall back on knowing they helped other people.

Hinson baskets have the best reputation, and they've been around a long time.

Wiseco baskets are now in stock for the TRX450R. Wiseco is the only one's selling forged baskets, which they claim are tougher than billet baskets. Part number is WPP3030. 800-321-1364. Wiseco is working on replacement cushions. They said they will hopefully be ready after the 1st of the year.

I put a hinson in mine b/c I needed it then, but I kept the wiseco on order and got it in last week. I will keep it incase I get another 450 or if one of my friends needs it.

I broke the stock basket as well with the Rekluse. I went with Hinson because the Wiseco wasn't out yet. Either one will get the job done. There are alot of guys running the Rekluse with the Hinson basket.

I have worn out many Hinson baskets in my 250R days. The new Barnett baskets look trick with the stainless inserts. That will be my next basket.

i use the hinson basket with the rekluse and it works great. i would go with the barrnet though since they have the SS inserts.

Our stock basket lasted 1.5 years with a rekluse in it I replaced it with a moose billet basket ( made by hinson) and have been very happy with it.
