Dyno Weekend in New Jersey

[Mobile Dyno]

I'm setting up an Dyno Weekend in New Jersey with Gary(370kingR) to give people up north a chance to get their bikes dialed in on the dyno or anybody who wants to get their bike dialed in. We are still working out the details and the dates. I know some people in NY and CT were asking about the Dyno. I need to know who would be interested in coming to NJ for the Dyno Weekend? PM me if your are interested. Some people were asking me if I can dyno motorcycles....Yes, I can do Motorcycles, Dirtbikes, Racing Karts, and Atvs.

All those who have wanted SOOOOOOOOOOOO badly to dyno your bike here in the NorthEast, well its time! After begging Matt from Mobile Dyno to travel up to this area, its finally worked. We need some people to commit and help to make it worth his time to drive all the way up from Maryland. The zip code here is 07981. We are 1 mile from alot of major highways (NJ for you) RT 80, RT 287, RT 280, RT 78. All very close to here. If your serious, please let us know. Quads, trikes, dirt bikes, street bikes, four legged rodents can all be dyno'd! Precisly tune your bike in no time and find out what its really got to the rear wheels ;)

You should call some of the northern NJ dealerships and arrange something there. That way the dealer can use it to attract new and old customers and u can use their existing customer base to your advantage.

I would just give yourself alot of time to plan it out and get the word out. You could also take a trip to englishtown in oldbridge nj and do the same thing u did at rausch at the quad and mx track. You may also wanna consider going to an open practice session at walden mx or diamondback in Ny only about an hour from Northern Nj

where will the event be located at and will there be a cost involved? if so, how much? I'd like to bring out my 450 and see how well I've got it dialed in

I charge a $25 set-up fee, $30 for A/F testing, $10/single dyno run, $10 for using my dyno slicks. If you want me to do the tuning I charge $70/hr and that includes all fees above. You will also get a print out at the end. I helped alot of people at Rousch Creek last weekend by dialing in the bikes. I'm a BIG help.

Guys, sorry i have not posted a date or address. It was an extremly busy week. Work, new motors, building other peoples motors, riding, family time....bla bla bla.

Matt and i will be getting together on this again this week and hammer out some firmative times and places where we can all do this. Again i apologize. Keep checking back in :)

we spent the day with Matt from Mobile Dyno and once again he found us power and got our quads dialed in. If you can swing getting to this dyno session i can tell you its well worth it!

When it all comes down to it, everyone backs out when you ask, "are you definetly in".


Had my local dealer interested but the jerked me around on the idea for several weeks then finally said no.

Its funny how who ever was interested, as soon as the hear it costs say 50-100 bucks to do some good runs, tune the bike and what not, its suddenly too much money for them. The same people who spent 500 on a pipe, 200 on a cam, and what ever else to build the bike up.

So i give up on the NJ Dyno thing. I guess ill have to come back down south to Dyno my own bike and thats that.

I will have a brand new pipe that Dan L. built for me (Dasa) and ill run it head to head with my current pipe, the Pulse Charger.

I will have 3 intake designs. A ported and epoxy'd ESR intake, a new intake setup from Dan L., and a KGB D&D filter setup.

Got some serious race fuels too! Time to compare this 550 to my old 520 on mobile Dyno's machine :macho

Thats a really cool gesture Pappy, thank you. I will definetly be in touch about that in the near future.

Perhaps we could get something going. At least enough to make it worth while for Matt to make the trip anyway.

I know Chad would travel! I think he gets aroused at just the thought of Dynoing :p

All i have to tell him is i think i got more power than him and that he should bring his bike up and show me whats up!

He will answer with, fine, ill bring up Jim's turbo R and THEN we'll see whats up...lol

My friends and I have been waiting to see a date for this event. I personally want to see if his canondales have as much power as my R or my friends Predator. I know when we ride my R seems to pull the hardest.

Ok so we should start chucking out dates so everyone can agree.

People that are serious about getting in some dyno time should all be accounted for so we dont end up with "more" than we can Dyno too. Get directions out and set a time.

We can ask Matt how many bikes in general can be run in a day. But, thats a hard question to answer when different bikes will be longer than others depending on how much tuning is being done vs. just an overall HP runs (like 2 or 3 runs)

Im not sure if Matt travels to races or what on the weekends, so we will need to ask him what days are good. I work alot, and really can only do weekends at this point, im not sure about everyone else.

We will also need to confirm with Pappy as we all decide since he will be hosting it. Thanks for doing that Pappy :)

The date is set for November 5th at Pappy's place.

Those who can definetly make it on that date P.M. me with your intentions so we can have enough time to include everyone on the dyno. Your intentions meaning if your just doing a few horsepower runs, fine tuning a dragster, or trying 5 different pipes and two different intakes and so on.....

If you need to know what the prices are for Mobile Dyno's services please P.M. Mobile Dyno and he will break down the numbers. They are currently on a trip till sunday so you guys know. If you dont hear from them in the next few days thats why.

I thought Pappys was alot closer but as it turns out, Pappys place is 250 miles away from me. It was 225 to Harlans place.

Man all this driving is killing me. Thats 500 miles to do in one day plus dyno the bike.

I need to get Matt closer than that somehow. Its been tough trying to get this to all line up right but im not having good luck with it.

I guess if worse comes to worse ill camp out :D

Sorry I haven't been here in a while...I just got back from Georgia and was in Mississippi 2 weekends back. I need to know how many people ARE COMING? If pappy's place is not good for everybody because it is to far then we can try to find another place. For you guy's up north, what about a DYNO DAY at Rausch Creek in PA?
