pro riders say that the hinson clutch is a MUST HAVE mod but the only thing i ever see for sale is the hinson clutch basket now is the clutch basket what is making the differance or should you get the clutch and springs, John Nattalies R runs hinson clutch basket with stock clutch and springs. any comments would be appreciated.

A hinson, or other billet basket, is just a bigger safety issue. The billet baskets don't wear grooves or shatter near as easily as stock baskets. I hear from most anyone I have asked the stock fibers and steels are probably the best. I have a precision machining basket for a 400 I need to sell, pm me if you are interested.
