advil will just thin ur blood letting it flow threw easyer but wont make u less sore. just do the common sence things like getting good sleep the night before eating healthy all day drinking liquids and stretching other then that its just ur lack of being out of shape and u will have to deal with it

ZYou get sore because your muscle fills up with latic acid from being over worked and not used to it. Nothing really you can do.

Only way to get rid of the ackes is to go work out, just like weight lifting when you first start you will be dying the next day, you just hae to go out and work out the kinks.

Bingo

Latic acid is exaclty why your muscles get sore,it feels good though that means your body is getting a workout

yeah..... a slight work out or stretches after hard riding will work some of that out of your muscles. Or just bathe in Bengay !!!

The bananas have lots of potassium and that helps with sore muscles.

Riding agressively works muscles that you normally dont work in standard workouts.

Its just like hitting the gym for the first time in a long time, the following day you are going to be hurting.

If you load up on protien before and after, and mix it up with some potassium during the day of the ride you will recover much sooner.

Stay hydrated too!

The best way to prevent it is to ride more, and be in good riding shape.
