e-series leak?

I have had the e-series for bout a year and the other day i went thru a creek and heard a leak. When i got it home i checked it out and shure enough there is a leak where the midpipe and the cone connect. I called white bros they said i could ship it to them for 9 bucks and they could fix it but my dad says he can weld it which would get it fixed faster but which should i do??

make sure it can still be removed from the quad if he welds it!

if its a crack in the mid pipe, weld away

is there exhuast springs or anything??

if its on the silencer then your fine but like what pappy said make sure you can take the silencer off.
