View Full Version : Valve adjustment question

In the tech article on adjusting the valves on this site for a 400ex it says the gap on intake is .004 and on the exhaust is .005. Does anybody know if this is the cold gap or the hot gap. I'm asking this because if I set the gap cold it will be different when the motor is warm. Any help would be great.:ermm: :ermm: :ermm: :ermm:

make sure the motor is fully cold!!

Hey guys just wanted to say thanks. I had already gotten the same answer from my local dealer as well.
