Earlier today i was trail riding in baldwin MI and managed to hit a 15" diameter tree in the top of 3rd gear, the DG Fat bumper had 2 supports snap off the other 2 cracked and on the right upper and lower a-arms need to be replaced but the pivot points where they mount are either stretched, cracked or broken. how do i fix this while avoiding a new frame? i work in a tool and die shop so alll of the welding tools and mills are available, what could i do?

id just mark the front and back of the mounting brackets with a sharpie marker, then cut the old mounts off, then fab up new ones, make sure you place the new brackets in the same spot or you will mess up the geometry of the arms, shocks. ect...

:( Dude sorry too hear that. I did the exact same thing but i hit a stump. My arms looked the same way.also my frame. Straighten the mounts as good as you can get some heavy duty washers and weld them on the outside of the mount. But first get your new a-arms and mount them loosly with the new washers.sung up the bolt and tack the washers, remove the arm and then weld all the way around them if you can. I would post pics but I do not know how.If you want pics just ask.:macho
