As you can see this bike has had some effort into building it. I got the bike back with the new motor on 6/22/2005 and broke the motor in that night. The very next day 6/23/2005 I took it to the race track. While doing hot laps I hit a steel piped fence wide open. I was told that I was unconscious and spent the night in the ER. As you can imagine the hospital and ambulance bills are rather large. This is the main reason for selling the four wheeler, plus I need to be husband to my wife and father to my little girls. After seeing the handle bars that bent around my chest the doctor said I blessed to remember anything.

********************NOT PARTING OUT*****************

Asking $4850.00 firm, over $10,000 in this nearly new machine.

I welcome all and any questions. This bike is also listed on ebay.

That is what's nice about owning the bike you're selling. You can ask what you want. If you get it, then great. If not, you still got a nice bike. Or you could be asking $3000, list it for $4000, and if somebody talks you down to $3000, you get what you want and the guy thinks he got a deal.

I think 300EX777 would rather see replies of intrest, not critisism.

thanks but,

i have a ton more money in 300 than you do in your 450, so i should sell it for less.

i just dropped $2200 in the motor, which was new to start with, and only has an 1hr on it.

if i sold it for $3500 no one would say a word but add a $1000 and now im crazy.

300EX777

also like to add that there is $1200 here in just tires and wheels!!

Yes, but putting parts on a bike doesnt always raise the price much. I mean its a nice bike and all, but it doesnt change the fact that it is a 300ex. Good luck getting that much for it though, maybe you will get lucky?

300EX777

so your telling me that putting parts on a bike doesnt raise the price. then all stock bikes and moded bikes should be treated the same. none of you are making any sense. putting $10000 into any bike makes it worth more.

this is a race bike built for a specific class. there are blasters in my class that have more money involved than i do. that means they should sell there $15000 bikes for $2500.

you guys must not race and have no idea what it takes to build a bike or ride in a specific class. this is no trail bike!!!!

that is a exceptional lookin race quad that is deffinately one of a kind, i think that it is worth the asking price i mean just look at it. Im sure that 300ex could make a lot of bigger displacement quads cry at the races.

I never said it didnt change the value at all, but on some quads you can put lots of money into them, and take a massive loss. I just bought my baldwin 426ex this summer, It has about 10,000 in parts into it also. I think I paid $4250 for it, which is probably a little high considering how the prices of 400 have dropped a ton.

Im not trying to be an *** or anything...but thats what sux....no matter how much $$$ you dump into these damn things you never get your moneys worth when its time to sell it....Maybe a with a YFZ or a 450r you will because they are what everyone is looking for and are will to pay the full price of the accessories cause most likely they will be put on for there use anyway....just letting you know man...nice 300ex, that thing must Rip.

08-30-2005, 08:43 PM
yea u hav emore parts then my 450 lol...r u faster nahhh

300EX777

understand this. in a racing circuit there is seperate classes. one is called sport class. this is where the warriors, 300ex's and blasters race. they make it a seperate class because believe it or not the race organizers also think they can be beat by the 450's.

did i build my bike to beat a 450, i dont think so. do hundreds of people all over the US race the sport class, yes. Do most of the people in this class have this much money tied up in there machines, yes. can they get a sweet tricked out racing machine for half of what it takes to build one, yes.

so if anyone is looking to get into this racing class and would rather spend $4850 then $10000-$15000 i would recommned this bike. any questions??

all you trail riders, quit posting, your not making any sense.

I was stating a fact...you never get your money's worth back when its time to sell....it goes with everything..Cars, quads, bikes......

300EX777
08-31-2005, 09:55 AM
i understand that. i am trying to get back less than half of what i have in a new bike with a new motor and new parts. when i got into the sport i understood this fact. however what people just cant get through there head is that this bike is still new.

if you bought a new 300ex from a dealer right now most would charge you $4000. for $850 you can have all the goodies.

all these posts just assume since this is a 300 that i am asking to much. like i said anyone who has built a race bike and raced it knows what it takes and these arent the guys telling me i am asking to much. its the weekend warrior trail riders.

yo since ur into flat track and all where exactly do they race them at???

300EX777
09-02-2005, 07:47 PM
the main track is www.ozarksatvraceway.com. i also race a local circuit called hoska racing. they werent as big this year as the last few years, but one of these races is where i had my wreck.

that ended my season and probably my career in flat track/tt racing.

Your Atv is awsome, my daughter and i both race TT and i know what you mean about the classes. the bike is well worth the asking price if you race TT or Flat Track. i promise you i could take your bike the way it is smoke these ****ing wind bag Posers, who probably have never set foot on a racetrack in there lives. Any reall racer knows your bike is worth the money.
