Is sparks cam a good cam.And does the cam only work good with sparks exhaust.Cause someone to trade me for it.I have a white bros alum race

I've heard a sparks cam is just a repackaged crf cam with a higher price tag

It will still be a good cam. If you want one go to servicehonda.com and order a 2002 crf dirtbike cam for like 160 bucks, thats the same thing as the sparks only like 50 bucks cheaper.

im going to trade something for the cam.or should i wait and buy a hot cam?

i would never buy a hot cam over a cutris cam or a crf cam. i just dont think they are as good.

Whats wrong with a hot cam? Do you have any evidence of the hotcam being inferior or is this just your opinion? I would try the stage 2 hotcam over the crf. With alittle looking you can find a stage 2 for about $120.

i wouldn't have a problem running a hotcam. i think the cam you run depends on your riding style. if you are a trail rider with just a pipe and filter, there is no need for a large lift web or mysto cam. a crf, hotcam, sparks cam, etc would be the best bet.

yea its my opinion AND ive heard about alot of ppl, including one of my friends, haveing problems with them. But i think that they have updated them from the older design.

they did have some problems and they were all properly taken care of by hotcam and are all fixed.
