250ex beats 300ex with mods in a race

my brother all stock 02 i belive trx250ex shaft beats my 300ex (mods and stuff in sig) in a 40 yard striaght away race on a pavement road

just out of curiostiy what can i do to my machine so it can beat his?

Check your jetting, clogged filter etc. That would be my first guess.

Well for one thing maby yous hould start with taking your foot of the brake there is no way taht ccan beat you inless you jsut plain ole suck at rding got that is pathetic LMAO That jsut made my day lol omg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are your brakes sticking? I know that this happened to my dads 400. Is your chain real loose? Does your engine need a new top end? Is it smoking? I would check stuff like that.

it is burning oil it needs a new cam and rockers and rings i should have them in my engine in like 2 months:(

(my sig is a little ahead of date)

could that be the problem?
