any tried the ricky stator fly wheel? how does it perform?

I'm running one & I'm very pleased with it.

I've got one, but I can't tell you any difference because I never got to do a direct comparison. However, I've never had any complaints.

I do have a Ricky Stator high output stator. It's all well and good, but the lights are pretty dim at low RPMs. However, at full revs and 170 watts of lighting, I'm usually in the front of the pack lighting the way for everybody else.
