Really hard starts when cold

whenever i start my quad cold, jsut like if it's sat for a day or two, it sometimes takes Forever to kick over,
huh? anyone else have this problem and find an easy fix? It starts right up after it's been warmed up but i think it's taking an unusal amount of kicks to start it cold

in the manual... it will tell u if u have trouble starting to do this....choke off... put in N...hold throttle open.... slowly kick bike tens time slowly ...as slow as possible...then with no throttle... kick it over... maybe the most is 2 kicks

it's a brand new quad, no mods, go figure i should read the manual lol :P i'll give that a shot next time, thanks

Pump the gas once or twice, pull out the choke. Kick it hard. Will start 1st kick.
Do not TOUCH the throttle WHILE your kicking it.

Same works for me, they are cold blooded with stock jetting, pump the throttle a couple of times so the pumper will squirt some gas in there, then choke it and kick.

I know dude. But there have been a few cases of people cracking their cases from blipping the throttle when kicking it over. It also could come back quick and whack you in the shin.

well what i was saying is that when u open the throttle... u kick it slow... not as if to start it but just to get the juices flowing
