before you spend to much $, check and see what quads are successful in the type of racing you want to put your kid in. some quads are getting a little outdated for some of the series.

Forget the JLucky extenders and get a set of a-arms from ATV Racing in Phoenix Az.. The JL lower the quad a lil.
Durablue rear axel.
Moore Racing motor when needed. :)

Not sure.
The ppl that have bought them haven't complained of the cost tho.
The Lucky extenders do work fine, they just lower the machine is all. For XC, that may not be good.

WE run all the GNCC youth atv races.Don't worry about the lt80. There are a few there and they do great. In fact there is a boy there in the 90 production class who flat out FLIES on his. In fact he won 1 and ALWAYS is in the top 3 or so overall. The boy has become good friends with my little guy. This kid is fast enough on the lt80 that Hetrick gave him a Hetrick race quad to race. But lt80 is right get the arms and axel with some GOOD shocks. Then send the engine to LT80. He will make it one of the fastest there.
lt80's are very fast out of the box stock. But the width of the wheels are the only downfall. Glad to see another kid join XC racing on the National level. Hope to see ya there.

I should ad. If you do all that to the lt80 it will have to run in the 90 Production class because of all the after market parts. If you keep the suspension stock and add a pipe it will run in the 90 limited class.

let lt 80 do the motor dont waste your money on those supposed 5 inch trave shocks and rocky mountian atv sells the rims pretty cheap we have race ours for three years 2 with jacks motor and it fly's.
