Does anybody know of any bore kit other other means of getting 300cc out of a 300EX. The reason I'm asking cause I'm planning to start racing and the class is unlimited up to 300cc. I will also be selling my E-series to get a Sparks pipe. Besides the usual mods (filter, jets, pipe, bore kit) what else can I do to the engine to get more power.

you won't notice any difference in power. don't bore it its not worth it. like they were sayin get a cam and a port and polish too if you can afford it. get a head pipe if you don't already have one.

Yeah, maximize the flow through what you have before you bore it if you're trying to stay at or below 300ccs. The smallest kit I was aware of is a 305cc kit.

So instead, mod the airbox, better air filter, port and polish the head, larger valves, more aggressive cam, hardened rockers, better headpipe and muffler. While you're at it, maybe bump the compression up but leave the stock bore. That's probably about as wild as you can go and still leave the bore stock.

Wiesco 11 to 1 .080 over piston (298cc's) (i did the math)
Webcam
Valve springs
o/s intake valves
carb
etc. etc. It all boils down to how fast you can afford to go!

I'd double check that. I didn't check your math, but I thought .080" over was the 305 kit.
