how do you change the brake pads on a kawasaki kfx 400? I have the old ones out but their is not enought room between the pads to slip the assembly over the rotor. and i have the bleeder screw open and the piston pushed in as far as it goes. any help would be appreciated.

take the old pads and put them on without the bolts going through them and take a big pair of plyers and squeeze it so the piston goes in.

I usually just pry the pads apart (carefully so you dont damage the new pads) with a skrew driver with the dullest edges possible. When they're open slide the brakes on over the rotor.
