took some pics of my 450r today. i took off my hood and put the lights back in and i like it better. i need them anyway since i use them in the winter alot. i painted some stuff black, and a few other small things. if anyone has any ideas on some small cheap stuff to do, lemme know. i dont want a pipe or suspension since i dont need it so those are ruled out. im stumped. would i have to rejet if i got an air filter but kept the lid on or should i be ok.
opinions would be great.

What kind of paint did you use on your clutch cover and header guard? It looks good. Did you sand it down first? Thanks.

Yes i did sand it down first and i just put on 3 coats of high temp paint and it seems to hold up great , actually i don't have the heat shield on any more because i got a full yoshi system and it came with a heat shield , if you wanna buy the old black heat shield just make me an offer.

there is no need to get a new air filter. the stock one isn't that bad. a shock rebuild wouldn't be a bad idea if you race.

Drop in a different cam and an HRC needle.
I went with a stage 2 Hotcam and love it

i dont race but i plan on hitting some mx tracks when either me or a friend gets their license so if i feel the need for a suspension rebuild i will go for that. im only 135 pounds so the stocks seem ok now but i havnt gotten out to the big tracks.the motor is fine for me with the endcap out and nothing else. i dont really want to start opening up the motor anyway. im gonna get some handguards next though. suggestions on what kind?
