How do Ohlins shocks compare with works and elka. Because Im looking at a pair right now for my ex. And does anyone know how there customer service is.

They are fully rebuildable single rate with adjustable preload. But I was thinking if I could get them for cheap then I could have them converted into dual or triple rate. These will just be used for recretional and trail riding.

ohlins arent a bad shock, especially if you can get them cheap. one of the best sets of shocks ive ever riden was done up by pro action. id say god for it if it can fall well below buying a set of the more common brand name shocks.

What size tires you have on there? I got a set of hipers that came with 23" fronts and I want to go with a 20" in the rear.

ohlins are a very nice shock. if they are a good price go for them. i have my ohlins for sale. im gettin a lt front end so these need to go. let me know if you are interested.

Looks like 20" rears and 23" fronts to me

Ohlins are good shocks when setup correctly. They also have a hole new valving system out on their new stuff and are making much easier to set them up for the customer when they buy them new instead of buying an off the shelf set and having to get them redone.:)
