I wanna be w/ demolition where they refurbish old buildings. I wanna be the guy that goes in there w/ a sledge hammers and pry bars and tears down the everything but the main structure.


That or a repo man or something like jesse james putting together nice motorcycles and ****!

My dream job would be winning the lottery and tinkering in my garage on a variety of projects. No boss, no deadline, no stress. Just me, virtually unlimited resources, a welder, a slew of air tools and my tool box.

If I actually had to go to work everyday for a paycheck I'd love to work for GM's Specialty Vehicle group. Turn Cobalts into 1300hp 4-cylinder monsters (my cousin works for GM and they actually have it:eek: ). Anything where I can take a GM car or truck and turn it into a street legal race car is for me.

I would like to own a track similar to one we have here. It has both an indoor and outdoor track. It is now a dealership, so they have some bikes and quads for sale. There is also a big store in there with gear, parts, oil, stuff you might break at a track. And they have a shop in there in case you break something.

Something like that would be awesome to own. I would also love to be a writer/tester for quad magazine, or something like that. You get you see all the new stuff, you go to all the races to get coverage. Sounds like a good job to me.

Aside from winning the lotto, I guess I am already working my "dream job". I recently got my old job back working for Boeing. Its the only job I've ever had that I never had a bad day at work, or came home grumpy. Great pay and benifits that only a government can beat. Now If I can get on the Navy's MMA project, I'll be set for the next 20 years:D

Sounds like you are on the military side of Boeing, or what was Boeing. My dad works on the commercial side of Spirit Aerospace, formerly known as Boeing. He still has his job, but is likely going to be contacted out. After 28 years he's probably going to get laid off.

My dream job would either be working in the music industry or coaching basketball at the college (Div. 1) level.

my dream job would be a pro gnc racer fully sponsord by honda...thats unlikely to happen so i would like to be a welder/fabricator....or work on anything with a motor...diesel mechanics get paid good, auto mechanics get paid good...small engine mechanics get paid good too...ive always loved tinkering with motors and such...hell id like to be a pro racers mechanic or build race engines like sparks and TC

Actually I am in commercial. I work on the 737 line in Renton. The Navy's MMA will be final assembled and modified here in Renton. The contract is for 180 plus 737-800's over the next 20 years. With the first plane starting mod in 2007. These planes will replace the Navy's P-3's. LOL Whats cooler than putting bomb doors and wing weapons on a 737:D check it out (http://www.boeing.com/defense-space/military/mma/flash.html)

Spirit aerospace, is your dad on the 787 project? I hope he gets to keep his job. Seems like the company just keeps getting smaller and smaller. They just keep selling off little chuncks here and there. Before you know it, all that will be left is the final assembly plants here in Washington.

i would love to be the jack of all trades...and have one damn good paying job, doing a bunch of stuff....

one day i could be in a machine shop, next day building a website...next day on a photo shoot at a race, next day engineering a part to be made...

anything that will get me set financialy, so when im married with kids my wife could stay home and take care of the kids for the day, and still have plenty of money to enjoy life is good enough for me.
