i think theres actual paddle tires for snow. i think i saw some on a 400ex on this site. it says for snow on the sidewall. ive been wondering the same thing myself because i fabbed up some skis for the front and they work pretty good but i need some traction in the back. thats were the paddles would come into play. i like to know if they worked myself. anyone know?

no the tires you are thinking of are specially made and are called for snows i believe. you can buy them just about anywhere, and when you are accelerating they poof up to around 20% more size to get more clearance and traction.

Here in Albany, we get like 6-24" of snow depending on storm. Best tire Ive ever used Sur-Trak for snow. Ive tried sand paddles, they get shredded real fast on the ice. Best setup is skis on front and V tread Mud Tire on rear Like this 300 I found on this site.
