I have been looking around at some cams and really putting some thought into it. I am leaning towards a Curtis Sparks cam. Is that really worth the investment with a stock engine except for a curtis sparks x6 exhaust?

cam makes a pretty big difference on the 400, the hotcams stage 2 works pretty well in the ex

NO matter what cam you go with, you should upgrade to a higher compression piston if you want to do it the right way. Just putting in a cam is like only putting 2 new tires on a car with 4 worn out tires... Do it right or don't do it at all....

LMAO! Now who would do that?? Deffinitely do the piston and cam, it's only another $120 with gaskets; and let's face it, you're going to end up doing it sooner or later.

with a stage 1 hotcam you shouldn't have to do all that would you?it says you can use with stock valves and everything..

am going to get my 400 bored out here sometime so, i don't want to go buy a high comp piston until I get the 440kit . Why doesn't anyone like curtis sparks cam?

most likely because its 380$ and the 130$ hotcams work great...im ordering a NEW stage II to compliment my 416 11:1 piston, hd valves and springs and rockers, and curtis sparks porting and X6 pipe
