When putting together my 86' R I found that when I connected the clutch cable to the motor on the left side, the spring keeps poping out because the clutch rod keeps popping up. How do I fix this problem so that my cltch cable connects right???
Thanks a lot,
David

Heres a pic. See right where the clutch cable connects to the motor with the spring. Mine keeps popping up and isn't staying in place like it is supposed to.

I dont need ur pics, I know what it looks like, but how come the bottom doesn't lock with the rod when I stick the rod through from the other side when u remove the clutch cover??? How do I lock it in with the otherside??? Or how do I hook it up in the inside?
Thanks,
David
