me and my freind got his old go kart running....and was wonder what we can do to make it go faster, its a 5HP one from walmart

What kinda motor? zip tie, or twist tie the the governor spring

Put a SEARS or SHOPKO sticker on there. The WAL-MART sticker actually takes away hp!

u cant just disable the governor, you have to jam it up somehow, make it solid. straight pipe and filter wont help any unless u rejet the engine, and i dont think its possible to rejet a tecumseh. It will run alot worse, backfire alot, and sound horrible.

lol I had a cr125 motor on one a while ago, only had 2nd gear but that was enough for that thing.

lol i gave up on it..snapped 2 chains in 2 days.....thats what you goet for doin donuts with a 1 wheel drive car....and gettin air with no shocks and no seat cusion:o :p
