What is everything needed for a good running, fast 416 on (93)pump gas? Im stupid and have never done engine work like this so if you guys could list everything needed, and an estimate price for a 416 that would be great because im wantin to get some more power outta my 400ex for the trails and dirt draggin, mainly for the dirt drag races.

how would these setups work for drag racin in 300ft dirt, and maybe trail ridin every now and then

full exhaust of your choice (HMF, Yoshi, Sparks ect)

i want to be able to run pump gas, and be able to hang with stock 450s in 300ft drags.

i have an hmf slipon, should i get a sparks full system? i see lots of 4stroke dragsters with them

I have a spare JE 416 11:1 piston for sale if interested.............

I would get a full exhaust for sure, Sparks or HMF. Here's what I would do:

Get the JE 416 Piston, Cometic Flex Steel Gaskets, CRF Cam Chain, and Hinson Basket from C&D Racing. Then send GT Thunder the head to be ported/polished with a valve job, new valve seals etc, get the HD head studs, what cam he says, and his 8 plate clutch, and be good to go...

my 416 is wierd, the guy that I bought it from swears it has a je 10.8:1 piston. which I believe him. but when I go to run 93 in it the thing knocks horibly. I put c-12 in it and it runs flawlessly. I thot it was my jetting, nope not that. dont understand it.

Every engine is different..........but yes that does sound wierd.:confused:
