how much of a difference does this make? do i need to buy anything else to make it work?

It includes everything you need. CDI, Wire Harness, Flywheel, Stator and left side cover already professionally machined by JH Racing. I don't think I'm forgetting anything. All with only about 30 min. on it. I'll even leave the gasket on the side case so you can just bolt it on and rip. All I can say is it rips. John Natalie runs one and many others including drag and sand duners. Let me know.

The parts I bought straight from Honda...2004 Model and JH Racing (Johnny Hale) did the mod.
