HELP! How do I do a VIN Seach

I'm going to be buying a 250R tommorrow with no title.

How can I do a VIN search.

help appreciated.

Call the seller and ask him to read the VIN number to you.

Take that to your local Department of Motors and Vehicles.
For $10 I believe, they will tell you who it is registered to so you know what to do.....

In Maryland, I called the state police stolen vehicle department and the ran the number for me. They told me where it was bought, who the original owner, when it was orginally brought, etc. Try the local police department.

Good luck. If it has been PC you might be able to see it...
Or the plate might have been replaced.
Had a friend that got a trx250 with a plate from a different bike...

If you can read it you have a good chance you will be ok!!!
