About the only cheap mods left you can do would be a GT Thunder velocity stack and rejet, 20" rear tires for better acceleration, port and polish and a cam/higher compression piston. A better exhaust wouldn't hurt either but it isn't really cheap.

i already got a set of 20 inch itp xct tires to put on it, if i upgrade to a 14 tooth sproket will this help the speed

Aftermarket Air filter (you didnt mention one.) will open up the air flow. Then grab a HotCam Stage1 for it. You will need to rejet for these as well.

For woods riding I liked the 12 tooth front sprocket when my 300ex was just a pipe/filter combo. (had 22" tires though)

Are you just looking for top speed, or acceleration?

To increase acceleration, get a 12t front sprocket.
To jsut increase top speed keep the 13t front sprocket and get a CDI mod to increase the rev limit.

A 14t front will make the stock 300ex a dog.

As far as regearing with the 20's I'd say it depends on the type of riding you do. I ride trails so I like the bottom end power with the stock gearing. If you are wanting top speed then go up to a 14T front sprocket.

im looking for top speed but dont want to loose to much acceleration and would still like it to pop up easy

14T with 20" tires should be about the same as stock gearing with 22's

check here for the velocity tube it's on the bottom left of the page

http://gtthunder.com/

You'll probably only pick up a few mph by going with the 14T sprocket

Not sure on the price. I'm thinking around $20 but I'm not sure. Your best bet would be to call them.

Best way to increase top speed w/o loosing power is to get the CDI modded for a higher rev limit.
