Is the Hetrick better than the CS exhaust? I havent seen but one of the Hetricks on a 300ex and I want to know how they compare with the CS. Which is better in your opinion? Is there a better exhaust than these?

Do they have good power gain all over or just mid and low or mid and top end?

I would love to see some pics of them on 300ex's

Well they are almost the same pipe. Some differences. I believe the hetrick is cheaper well it is for the 400ex i know and is just as good so i would save the moey from buying a hetrick and but carb or motor work.

i love my hetrick it has a moderate low end gain, a very very strong mid gain, and a pretty noticable top end gain. but i got these results out of, jetting, a K&N, a powroll air box lid, and the pipe all at once it was a great amount of increase in power i can run dead even with a 400ex from mid second until high 3rd

So thats 2 for Hetrick and none for CS.
They are the same price..Both are 300.
Are they very loud??? Are they louder than the DG?

CS has a unbeliveable gain in power and torque i love it i would go with it over the hetrick and cs is pretty da** loud it has a nice loud sound

i really liked mine on my 300 and i love mine on my 400.... but its up to you we are trying to get a dyno run for the 300 pipe now... ill post it asap

I've got the CS X4 with the SA on my 400EX, and I'm happy with it in just about every way. It provided a small gain in power and looks and sounds really good.

It's pretty pricey, though (about $550.00).

Value is not one of its strengths.

I dont want it to loud...
The DG is as loud of an exhaust as i want.

the hetrick system is alot deeper when idling and up to about mid then on top its not all that loud but has a nice bark... you can tell your commin hahaha

Yeah i like deep.
My friend has a BG on his 300ex and it sounds good, but my cousin has a DG and it is WAY to loud..If it was deeper than it might be a diff. story.


Which one in your opinion would be the better buy and sound the best?

well i would say either one would be awesome... like i said i have personally used hetricks stuff considering its my familys company but Sparks is an Awesome company too so its all up to you just stay away from pipes like DG Cobra and stuff like that...i would get it from a "race shop"......

I'm not sure if you can still get a 300ex pipe from sparks, I heard he was going to stop making them. And, there was one on ebay the other day that a guys was selling and he said it took 6 mos. to get the pipe.

just get the hetrick if you are still looking because it is an awsome pipe the price isnt high and the people at the shop in my perspective are very helpful and nice to do buisnees with

X-6, Call up C&D they will be able to get a better price than Sparks directly.
