for all you people who said that there was going to be an electic start on the 06 450r are wrong,i just call american honda in CA and they told me that no electic start on the 06 450r,i talk to the man myself,this is the number that i called 1-310-783-2000,also i just talk to my honda rep and he confirmed it,call that number and ask them to talk to someone about the new 06 450r,man i really wanted an electri start.this is true

If other's were correct its not called a 450r, the electric start version would be a 450x like the dirtbike.

Unless you asked about a 450x as well.


Personally I hope they dont make an electric start, but it would be cost effective for honda to do one. Think how many have said they would buy one if it had electric start.

I went to a dealership and almost everyone there said there was going to be a electric start. They also told me Honda hasn't announced the price of the 06 so thats a big hint that there doing something different other than color change or something!!!! SO im thinking they're going to make an electric start. Also that guy that you called is probably can't release anything anyway that is different about the 06 until it reaches the public. :D

you are lying! honda would not simply tell a random bystander about the 06 models before they have even been released at a dealer show, or to the industries presses!

I agree with 450robot! I mean if they weren't going to change anything then it would already would be released like all the other quads. I also 2nd 450robot they wouldn't tell some random person about the new releases that aren't even out.

Actually about 2 weeks, I read on on another site from several honda club members that the rest of the 06 line-up would be released to the club members on like september 7th and you know they will all tell everyone what is going on.
