on my 400ex ive begun to hear a squeeking and squeling sound when the front shocks compress. i believe it is either from the bottom of shock or the lower a-arms. should i disassemble them and grease them or should i replace whatever is inside completely. thanks

My buddy has the same problem with his left shock. We've tried to clean it spray it down with WD-40 spin the coil spring and nothing seems to stop the squeek.

Try to grease the bushings and see if that helps.

Yep its your a-arm bushings. Our rancher does that sometimes. My dad's Ranger does that too

The a-arm bushings on the 400ex's are sealed - so you have to disassemble the a-arms and grease the bushings that way - it will definately keep the squeaking down - mine started to do that after about a year.......once I lubed them, they stopped making that noise. If you get aftermarket a-arms with grease zerks you won't have to do it the hard way anymore. ;)
