View Full Version : 450R motor in a Roll or Laeger R chassis?

Anyone know if a 450R motor could be put in a Roll or Laeger R chassis without destroying the frame?. If so, who? Lee@racingquads.com

Sure.
Roll, LSR, & Leager all made R frames for the CRF450R hybrids before the trx450r came out. Just have them make you the frame in the old 250R-450R hybrid jig setup.

Well, according to Roll the 450R motor is too tall for the 250R roll frame.

yep, exactly

for any r frame for that matter

yes its been done but the gas tank is higher and all the plastics look OFF because of it

I don't know about the other two, but I know that a crf 450 won't work in a Roll Design 250r frame. I witnessed TMM cut a Roll in half only to find out that it was to tall.
