how much for a 250EX

How much do you guys think i could get for my 2004 250EX that is one year old?

id say in the neighborhood of 2100 or so. i got 1900 for my 02 and it was ridden to hell and back and you could tell.

What parts are on it? Is it in good condition? Tires? Cracks in plastics?

well it certainly wasnt ridden to hell. it is all stock except for the rear grab bar, because i bent the stock one. its still in very good condition. tires have decent tread still, and there is one small crack that you can hardly notice in the black plastics near the gas tank, but doesnt affect anything.

i think 2100 seems very low considering its blue booked at 2730.

any help on an asking price would be greatly appreciated.

i went and got a quote on a 2002 400ex that one of the dealerships had...and they would give me 2400 for my 250

yo, with kbb, the retail value is what the dealers would sell it at. the best way i do it is average the trade-in and retail, and there's your private party value.;)

so if i were to sell my 04 250, and buy an 02 400, how much extra money do you think it wold cost me?

it would depend on how much they're asking for the 400..and if u still owe on the 250

my guess is that an '02 in good condit. would sell for around 2800-3200 so i'd have an extra 800-1000 on hand incase

im workin on gettin a 400 too..but im waitin for one with some stuff done to it to show up

its possible..but i would try for more around 2500

or u could put it in some classified sections of ur local paper for 2700 obo and see what u can come up with

ya definitely. but i dont think that will be a big problem because in the want ad that comes every week theres always plenty of 400's for good prices
