400ex fuel screw

if you are supposed to turn the fuel screw out until the bike reaches it highest idle, how the hell do you accomplish this with the bike running. I can only get to it if the seat is off and i tilt the carb. How can i do it with the bike running. Is there an extended fuel screw like the Zipty fuel screw on my crf450r i can buy? How do you guys do it.

its hard but I can reach the screw with a little screwdriver,but when I say little it's little.I pass my screwdriver in front of the rear shocks and with a angle I can reach it
