frame prices vary around the country and will also depend on the color chosen.

usually anywhere between $150 to $350 and ive even seen some higher.

would it depend on color?

yep some paints are more expensive

Most companies charge only more to do translucent colors. Depending if your frame is stripped or not will vary the prices. CRC charges around 250 to do a complete process with a frame.

pappy does not charge the same for standard colors, and candy colors....why would he, it costs 2x's more powder to do a candy color. And i can tell you its not $300 for std colors, y not pm him and find out:D , or better yet he has his entire own forumn.

And $300 is not that bad of a price for a candy color. If the frame is already pc'ed.....good luck finding anyone to sandblast it under $150-300 alone....yes i got quote for sandblasting alone for $250, $280 etc:eek: Then pc prices of like $350 for a STD color, so i said screw this and off to Pappy it went:D

I paid $280 for frame, subframe and swinger powdercoated red with a clear on top of that, and that price included the sandblasting.

i just paid 390 to get my frame blasted and powdercoated black, and all of my springs were done as well.
when getting prices make sure the item is goin to be stripped correctly or you will be payin for a crappy job.!
Pappy seems to have a good reputation on this site so i would say run with him ,and his prices are great!i have seen some pics of his stuff and it appears to look like quality work!

i have said since day 1, check locally. alot of times you can get a heck of a deal on a frame especially if its a basic solid color.

if i had my way, i wouldnt handle anything mail order larger then a swing arm:p

Pappy is pretty consistant with prices that i have seen. I charge about $200. if it is a trans color or they want a clear coat then it may be a little more. I have checked around at different companies to see what they were charging everyone was right around 200.
