I am wondering if they make an auto clutch for a 400ex. i know that they make one for the 450r because Chris Jenks (gncc racer) had one at the begining of the year. If there isnt an auto clutch for a 400ex can you tell me the name of who makes the one for the 450r.

I wanted an auto clutch so that i could get the holeshot. I hate gettin behind off the start and i didnt want it to stall out on a hill climb.

Rekluse currently doesn't offer once for the 400ex. As for loss of power there isn't any loss. You can still use the clutch to feather out of a corner or shift gears if you wanted to.

Is the rekluse adjustable at all? Basically can you adjust the engagment, by switching out springs, etc?

Sorry for hijacking. Building myself a new XC quad over the winter, and have considered the Rekluse as an option. The old 330 is jsut going to beat me to death trying to keep up with the big boys in an open class racing enviroment (MHSC).. lol.

It has an external perch adjuster which allows you do adjust the engagement rate and also manually disengage the clutch. We use ours in xc and love it I don't think I could race some of the nasty terrain with out it :) Keep in mind this does take some maintence oil changes and internal gap checks. We have had ours since May or June of 04 still on the stock clutch.
