Alright it's about time for me to upgrade. I tried searching...anyways. I have Bieffe TB-4 mx boots and I have gotten sick of the buckles coming undone...these boots fell apart as soon as I pulled them out of the package. I have been looking around and it seems like I could get a decent pair for $150-200. Any input would be nice, I need some 12's, and would prefer the "outdoor" tread, not the "slick" tread...so if anyone has any opinion on any brands or makes lemme know. Thanks!

Alright I'll start looking more into those...I was reading the Forma Pro's have a double locking buckle system which sounds like just what I need. How does the sole look them? How much did you pay for your tech 10's? I saw them for $449 or so...seems kinda high unless that was outta date. I have been looking at some new Thor's on ebay, my buddy has a pair and he seems to like them. Thanks for the responces so far. I guess I can't complain too much about the boots I have now, I bought 'em for $90 new 2+ years ago....but its getting tireing having to rebuckle them every few minutes when I'm ridding:mad: Oh and I can't find any info on ARC...any help?

Tech 6's would be great boots for you....for the price.....they will last a LONG time.....also try the Oxtar boots - not the Pro ones, but the less expensive ones......another great boot company.

i think you can only get the ATV sole in tech 4 alpinestars (which i have and LOVE). check out rockymountainatv.com for boots, good prices and great place to do business (C&D might have boots).

Ive had Tech-6's,8's,and 10's,Sidi Flex Force SRS,Oxtar TCX pro,Gaerne SG-1,and SG-10,and Forma Pros

aH......But see....the people who REALLY test the boots out, are people like me who can't buy boots more than once every few years.....so our boots have to last us that long without falling apart! ;) My soles on my Tech 8's have finally worn out (AC pro pegs will do that to them!) - but otherwise, they have been great boots. I'm in need of some new ones, though.....going with the Oxtars this time.....

So far I'm kinda leaning towards the Fox offroad Trackers...unless I can find a little lower price on the Forma Pros(all I keep hearing is good about them). It seems like they have the ATV sole, and also am looking at Thor Quadrant boots, which have the atv sole. Any other opinions would be appreciated. I plan on keeping the quad until I die so the longer the boots will last the better.:D

Alright, are there any other boots where the sizing isn't quite the same as shoe size? Thanks for the heads up!

08-23-2005, 11:49 AM

Get one size bigger then your shoe no matter what boot you get.
